PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Marais provided structural and civil design for the development of a bar and covered pavilion, each around 1900 square feet in surface area, and for the expansion of an outdoor concert and event venue on Broad Street in New Orleans. Both structures are pile supported with a concrete slab. The scope for this project included providing new utility connections, site drainage, structural analysis, foundation design, design drawings, and construction administration.
Marais staff provided all of the structural and civil design for other phases of this development as well, from project inception to the current venue state. Civil design work included grading and drainage for the site and parking lot, utility connections, design drawings, permittings, stormwater design, and construction administration.
